Ah, the 90s: a time of promise and possibility, and the emergence of the Slacker Generation. And there was no better artistic expression of Generation X than the grunge movement, pioneered in Seattle by bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Hole, and Alice in Chains, and copied all around the world. Suddenly it became cool to be tortured and de rigueur to turn up to parties in items of clothing that were found at the bottom of the wash basket. If you were clean cut and working you were definitely a member of the Tom-Tom Club (found out why in our marvellous quiz!). So, don your Wack Slacks and Doc Martens and prepare to be taken on a trip down memory lane. Just how much DO you know about the 90s grunge movement? We're about to find out.
