I REALLY LIKE THIS….PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTANT WHY I DRAW MY CHARECTERS THE WAY I DO AND THEY EVENTUALLY END UP TELLING ME HOW MY CHARECTER EYES SHOULD NOT BE BIGGER THAN THEIR WHOLE BODY AND WHAT NOT…THEY BASICALLY END UP TELLING ME HOW TO MOVE FURTHER AWAY FROM MY STYLE OF DRAWING …

The ‘uniqueness’ debate amazes me. Seriously, you think a good response to criticism of that label is “I’d like to see you make art like this”? Rather defeats the purpose, and that seems like a terribly ill-informed, knee-jerk response for an artistic inspiration site.

Uminga’s style, though charming and quite enjoyable, is not terribly unique. It has his own touch and no-one else could have made these, sure, but we’re not witnessing ground-breaking new media. I would dispute the article’s title – uniqueness is not the artist’s selling-point here. But they are still very enjoyable pieces, and I’m glad to have had them StumbledUpon.

Thats pretty awesome. I also found this really shocking, yet entertaining video about a diet coke + mentos + microwave experimnet GONE WRONG video on YouTube. The diet coke and mentos and microwave totally explodes and looks like it sends the guy to his death. You can see the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVPZSK77yTw . I'm not sure, so tell me if you think it is real or fake.

You all are do-ing the chiba-chiba-blah-blah. The “watercolour” technique is quite elaborated. The white/colour balance is cool. I especially like the little white line around the figures. I don't see why everybody is trying to make-brake someone here. Just enjoy. Summer is coming and maybe we'll die tomorrow ;- )
